For over fourty years this is the first wine to be produced by the vineyards at Casale in San Gimignano, entirely with Vernaccia grapes. The front label is taken from an ancient fresco of Benozzo Gozzoli, "The drunkenness of Noah". This wine is a classic Vernaccia in purity, that "kisses, licks, bites and stings", as described by the poet Michelangelo Buonarroti jr. in his poem Aione, it has the typical character of the Vernaccia: great elegance and a fine bouquet.
