Produced from the Vigna a Solatio® vineyard in Casale, San Gimignano this wine comes from an accurate selection of the finest grapes of Vernaccia. The fermentatio and the refining are done in small 225l French oak casks for a period of about 5 to 6 months. Once bottled, it completes the DOCG required ageing for another 6 months before being sold.

Alcohol content: 13% minimum
Aging: after fermentating in small French oak barrels for 4 to 5 months, the wine then ages 6 more months in the bottle, as required by the laws governing this particular DOCG.
Best at temperature: 8-10°C 
Main features: straw yellow with golden highlights; slightly aromatic bouquet, with golden apple pulp, dried apricot, vanilla and other sweet yellow spices; intense flavors of exotic friuts, with an elegant, soft, dry palate finish.
Best with : typical Tuscan antipasti, pasta dishes or soups with crustaceans or shellfish, white meats; excellent as an aperitif.
