Produced from the Casale vineyards at San Gimignano, the Ab Vinea Doni®(meaning: 'gifts from the vineyard') is made with hand selected Vernaccia grapes.
The fermentation and refining are done in 225l. oak casks for 4 to 5 months. Once bottled, it completes its refining for six more months before leaving the winery.
The typical characteristics of Vernaccia are improved by the fermentation in oak barrels, enhancing the bouquet and roundness of this wine.

Vinification: Vinification is carried out off the skins, soft pressing the grapes. The fermentation is carried out in small French oak barrels in a temperature controlled environment
Alcohol content: 12,5%
Aging: it ages well and can be refined in the bottle for 3 to 4 years.
Main features: Straw yellow with golden highlights. Very fine bouquet, with appealing vanilla, pear, yellow apple and spices. Dry and deliciously mature, nutty with floral honey.
Best at temperature: 10°C
Best with: antipasti, risotto, vegetables, roasted chicken; noble fish, lobster and shrimp dishes.
