Produced with Sangiovese grapes, harvested on the hills surrounding San Gimignano and Siena, this Tuscan red wine, after a brief passage in oak barrels, further refines in the bottle for 3 to 4 months before leaving the cellar. This wine is recognized for its intense ruby red color and its pleasantly distinctive aroma of wild blackberries. After being decanted, it can complement perfectly Tuscan antipasti, pasta dishes, roasted and grilled meats, even pizza and focaccia.

Production Area: Vineyards in San Gimignano and Siena Vine: 100% Sangiovese
Vinification: this wine is fermented and stocked in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. After a brief passage in oak, it spends 3 to 4 months in the bottle.
Alcohol content: 12% minimum
Aging: this wine can be aged for 2-3 years in the bottle.
Main features: Intense ruby red color. Wide and fine perfumes, with a hint of wild berries. Intense, fruity, spicy and velvety on the palate.
Best at temperature: 18°C, it is best opened one hour prior serving.
Best with: salty antipasti and pasta dishes with sauces of meat, mushrooms and truffles; also pizza, roasted white and red meats, aged cheeses.
